Mrs. Viola B. Denley, 82, of rural Wanamingo, passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, at St. John's Hospital in Red Wing. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist Church in Red Wing, with the Rev. Virgil Colburn officiating. Interment will be at Zumbrota Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the Larson Funeral Home in Zumbrota Monday afternoon and evening and Tuesday morning and at the church one hour prior to the service Tuesday afternoon. Viola Beedy was born May 8, 1884, at Minneapolis. On March 24, 1904, she married Victor Kingsbury who later passed away. She became the bride of Thomas Denley on March 22, 1947. He passed away March 21, 1900. Mrs. Denley is survived by two sons, Verne Kingsbury of rural Faribault and B. B. Kingsbury of Red Wing; one daughter, Mrs. Virgil (Lois) Henschel of Wanamingo; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, three daughters, two sisters and one grandson.
