Christine Geboe was born in Wyandotte, Ottawa County, Oklahoma to parents John Chartis and Lucy Bearskin Geboe. She had three sisters and one brother. They were of American Indian heritage. Lucy Geboe belonged to the Seneca - Cayuga Tribe.

When Christine married, her groom was Lloyd Williams of Shawnee. He was the son of Owen Lloyd and Emma Williams and the step-son of Frank Ellis. Lloyd's father died when he was very young. They, too, were of Indian descent. Emma belonged to the Mexican Kickapoo Tribe.

Christine and Lloyd had two children; a son, Lloyd, and a daughter, Jeanie. Christine was an accomplished homemaker. She loved gardening and was an excellent seamstress. She could copy and make any ready-made garment she saw on the store rack, and she often did just that for herself and others.

In 1951 she and Lloyd moved the family to California, but they weren't satisfied with the West Coast. So after a number of years, they moved back to Oklahoma, where they made their home until their deaths.

Christine's funeral was held on September 17, 1980. Arrangements were by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
