Kimberly Jill Sparks was born in Americus, Georgia on April 24, 1966 and passed away at her residence in The United States Air Force Academy, Colorado on June 2, 2012.

Kim served in the 34th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron of the U.S. Navy where she was chosen as NCO of the Year in September 2010.

She is survived by her son Ryan (April) Bachner of Denver, Colorado; her daughter Sara Clare Sparks of Colorado Springs; parents Jeff and Linda Campbell; brothers Prenice Marlon (Johanna) Weitman of Plains Georgia, and Jeff (Sherry) Campbell IV of Pratville, Alabama; nephews Prent Weitman III of Coppell, Texas and T.J. Campbell III of Pratville, Alabama; niece Kaelyn Campbell of Pratville Alabama; aunt Dora Crisp of Trenton, Georgia, uncles Larry Williams of Americus, Georgia and Curtis Williams of Georgetown, Georgia; and a number of cousins and close friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00AM, Friday June 8, 2012 at the Air Force Academy Chapel in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Interment will be at a later date at the Andersonville N.H.S National Cemetery in Andersonville, Georgia.
