Kenneth was born June 19, 1925 in Johnson Bayou, Cameron Parish, Louisiana. He was the son of Ray Burnell Pevoto (Feb 20, 1889 - August 6, 1965) and Betty Irene Green (14 Jul 1893 - 15 Mar 1970) both born in Orange, Texas.
On Feb 29, 1945, he married Marie Ruth Stephenson of Orange, Texas. Marie is the daughter of Herman Stephenson (Feb. 23, 1892-June, 10, 1958)and Ella Mae Edgerton (Oct. 31, 1895 - July 4, 1989), both of Orange, Texas. They had 4 children.
