They had four children: Addie, Laura, Gilbert, and Nora Northrup before last two children Ruby J. b. 1885 Hesperia, Newaygo Co., MI. and Charles Rupert Northup b. 1889 Newaygo Co., MI.
First four children all died of diptheria and buried probably in Liberty, Cass Co., NE. or in Furnas Co., NE. where her brother Francis "Frank" A. Dake and father Judah B. Dake living.
