Catherine married Frank Layton (1865 to about 1930) circa 1882. In 1900 Frank and Catherine resided in Camden and Frank worked as a printer. At some point between 1900 and 1910, Frank moved his wife and two daughters (Beryl and Olive) to Meagher County, Montana. In 1920 Frank and Catherine were living in Hedgesville, Wheatland County, Montana where he was employed as a school janitor. In 1930, Catherine was a widow living with her daughter, Beryl Harma and family, and caring for children.
