George W. Yeagley, 86, died yesterday in his home, 208 Maple St. He was born in Schaefferstown, a son of the late William and Sarah (Derr) Yeagley. He resided here 58 years. He was in the painting business for 50 years until his retirement in 1949. His wife, Tamsie I (Miller), died last November. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Mountain Spring Association, United Social Club and Master Painter's Association. Surviving is a son, Harry G., of Reading; four grandchildren and five-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a. m. in the parlors of T. C. Auman, Inc., the Rev. J. Wilson Harner officiating. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery. [Reading Eagle, March 31, 1952, Page 18]
