Born on April 25, 1937 in Preston County, WV, she was a daughter of the late Harry Victor Calhoun and Fern Dale (Tanner) Calhoun Monnette. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Taylor.
Mrs. Wagoner was retired from the public relations department with the Mineral County Board of Education with 31 years of service. She was also formerly employed for many years with the Mineral Daily News-Tribune and taught language and English for the Mineral County Board of Education. She was a graduate of the Terra Alta High School, Potomac State College, the WVU School of Journalism and was a member of both the Keyser Presbyterian Church and the Mineral County Historical Society.
Surviving are her fiance', Glenn C. "Tink" Smith of Keyser; one daughter, Karen Timbrook of Keyser; one son, Donald "Eric" Wagoner of California; one sister, Shirley Friend of Bethel Park, PA; two grandchildren.
