Shirley Joanne Bergene, two-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bergene of the town of Cato, died last night at the Holy Family hospital after a week's illness of pneumonia.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Berge Funeral home at Valders and at 1:30 at the Gjerpen Ev. Lutheran church, the Rev. Martin Trygstad officiating. The body will lie in state at the Berge Funeral home after Saturday noon.
Shirley was born on January 19, 1939, in the town of Cato. She is survived by a sister, (private), her parents, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Knute Bergene of the town of Cato and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Vrany of the town of Kossuth.
