John E. Reindl, 88, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, died Sunday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. John Haen will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Reindl was born Sept. 27, 1885, at Kellnersville, son of the late Joseph and Mary Mazanec Reindl. He married Julia Preston June 12, 1912, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. The couple farmed at Antigo for more than 20 years and then farmed near Whitelaw. The past 30 years they have resided in the Town of Mishicot, Rt. 2, Two Rivers. Mr. and Mrs. Reindl observed their 60th wedding anniversary in 1972.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Norman, of Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. Roland (Lucille) Ranz, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Clement (Marian) Doolan, of Francis Creek; a brother, Anton, of Manitowoc; 26 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. A son, Irwin, five brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
