George Marlborough, 79, Cato farmer, died early today at the Holy Family hospital, following a lingering illness. He was born in Cato in 1865 and in 1898 married Miss Mayme Doolan. They located on the present homestead farm near Clarks Mills.
Survivors are the wife; two sons, Cyrill of Clarks Mills and Thomas on the home farm; four daughters, Sister Madelin of St. Louis, Mrs. August Hoeft and Mrs. Ray Paschel of Milwaukee, Mrs. Leo Flaherty of Stark; a sister, Mrs. Anna Halloran of Madison; and 13 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a. m. Saturday at the St. Mary's church in Clarks Mills. The body may be viewed at the Marlborough home, where it was removed this afternoon from the Watt Funeral home in Maple Grove. The rosary will be cited at at 8 o'clock Friday evening.
