Harold Roy Patrick was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully on June 15, 2012 at the age of 82. He was under the care of his family and Sparrow's Hospice House of Mid-Michigan. Harold was born on Nov. 30, 1929 in Ionia Township, MI. Harold was a graduate of Ionia High School; He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired as a toolmaker from Lansing Fisher-Body, and was a member of the U.A.W. Local #602. He was Past-President and member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1039.
Harold is survived by his wife of 57 years, Donna Jean; his sister, Marilee (Bud) Drost; his son, Douglas Patrick; his grandchildren, Jason (Jennette) Weaver, Jamie (Jason Pranger) Nelson, Jeremy (Ashley) Patrick, Jennifer (Ryan Wagonschutz) Patrick; his great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Nelson, Brady Weaver, and Brynn Weaver; as well as brother & sisters-in-law; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Nova Patrick and daughter-in-law, Donna Mae Patrick. Harold touched many lives and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 19th in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing with Pastor Michael Geiger of Bath Lakeside Chapel officiating. Visitation will be from 2-4, 6-8 P.M. Monday with the F.O.E. Aerie #1039 Memorial Service at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with Military Honors provided by Edwin Leyanna V.F.W. Post #671of DeWitt.
