One of eleven children born to Joseph P. Nestor and Mary Ann (Rock). Husband of Beatrice (McDonald).

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Beatrice in 1984, and nine of his siblings. His last remaining sibling, Patrick Anthony Nestor, died at age 91, only nine days after he died.
