Proctor - William H. McDevitt, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John P. McDevitt of this place died at Philadelphia yesterday afternoon from a complication of diseases. Mr. McDevitt was taken ill about 10 days ago with a cold which developed into measles and pneumonia. He was 27 years old and was born in this village where he made his home until five years ago when he was transferred to the Philadelphia branch office of the Vermont Marble company. For the past year he has been in business at Greenwich, N.J. Mr. McDevitt is survived by his father and mother and sister Bessie of this village and one brother, Charles of Pittsford. The funeral will be held from St. Dominic's church at 9 o'clock Saturday morning. Owing to the date falling on Holy Saturday there will be no requiem mass, but the usual absolution service will be performed by the pastor, Rev. P.J. Long
