Joseph Bertels, 74, a former resident of East Greenville, died at his residence, 726 Rhodes ave., Akron.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Bertels, four daughters, two sons and a brother, Anton Bertels, of East Greenville.
Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's church, Akron, and interment will be made in St. Barbara's cemetery, Massillon.
