Daughter of William Christian Boyer and Caturah Anna Hoffman.

Sister of William Charles Boyer and Mary Aurelie Boyer.

Married SGT Raymond Richard Liguori on September 12, 1942.

Worked in the Pentagon as a Clerk Typist in the Adjutant General's Office during World War II, typing classified documents about troop movements. She never had to wonder where her husband was, because she would see his unit listed in the documents she was typing.

It is rumored that she helped catch a spy working in the same office, when she noticed that every time top secret files came across another typist's desk, the typist would "accidentally" spill something and have to rush away to the ladies room. Marie reported her suspicions to her superiors, and the woman was suddenly no longer employed in that office.

Raymond died in July of 1950 as a result of war wounds. Marie never remarried. They had a son and a daughter.

Died of complications due to breast cancer.
