Daniel DeLong, of Longswamp, Berks county, died on Sunday morning of apoplexy at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Henry Fritch, at Wescoesville. He came to pay her and family a visit two weeks ago, and was stricken soon after. He was 75 years of age, and is survived by his wife and seven children --- Washington DeLong and Mrs. Fritch, of Wescoesville; Zachariah DeLong, of Griesemersville; Peter DeLong and Mrs. Krause, Mrs. Ochs and Mrs. Tillsman, of Reading. A daughter died five weeks ago. He also left eighteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. The funeral will take place on Saturday morning next at the Longswamp Church, Rev. N. W. Helfrich officiating.
