My Mother was raised on a farm in Northwestern Iowa. She met my Dad in Ft. Dodge, Ia. and they were married in DesMoines, Ia. October 20, 1929. My Dad was a salesman for Iowa Packing Co. & Swift & Co. in his earlier years so we were subject to moving numerous times. Mom was the homemaker and put all of her energy and talent into raising us two boys. She got a great deal of satisfaction out of teaching the youngsters in Sunday School. She taught the Beginner's Class at Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church for 43 years. Needless to say, her hope was built on nothing less than God's Grace and His Righteousness. Her example was very important to me. God Bless you Mom, I'll see you in Heaven.
