Joseph Bourish, 88, of Clarks Mills died Tuesday night at New London, Wis., after a lingering illness.Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Reedsville Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. The Very Rev. Andrews Linsmeyer of New London, a nephew, will be celebrant at the solemn requiem high Mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Bourish was born June 10, 1866, in the Town of Cato, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bourish. He married Mary Rapple and the couple
farmed at Clarks Mills. Mr. Bourish served for many years as assessor for the Town of Cato. Mrs. Bourish died in January of this year. He was a charter member of the Holy Name Society of his parish church.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Josephine Blahs of Bessemer, Mich., and a number of nieces and nephews.
