Mrs Anna Brandl age 77 resident of Whitelaw died Tuesday am at Holy Family Hospital Manitowoc where she was a patient for 6 weeks. Funeral services 9:15am Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home Manitowoc and 10am St Michael Catholic Church Whitelaw Rev Francis Rose officiating. Burial in St Mary's Cemetery Clarks Mills.

Born Anna Braun 3 July 1885 in the Town of Liberty to the late Peter+Barbara Braun, she was married in Manitowoc County on 9 May 1910 to George Brandl. They owned and operated a farm in the Town of Cato until 13 years ago when she moved to Whitelaw.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1950. She was an honorary member of Christian Mothers Altar Society of St Michael parish and the last surviving member of her birth family.

Survivors include 5 daughters: Elinor/Mrs Anton Mrozinski, Lucille/Mrs Arthur Eisenschink, Hildegard/Mrs Leo Zimmer, Regina/Mrs Hugh Williams, Isabel 'Liz'/Mrs Hubert Willis all of Manitowoc; 5 sons: Mark, Arnold, Isadore of Manitowoc, Harold of Rt 1 Cato, Lambert of Green Bay; 33 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. Son George 1913-1933, three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
