Harold L Brandl age 59 of 11816 Morgan Road Cato WI died Monday afternoon 18 February 1985 at Holy Family Hospital in Manitowoc. Funeral services were 10:15 am Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11am at St Mary Catholic Church in Clarks Mills. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Rev John Conrad. Burial followed in St Mary’s cemetery.

Born 11 September 1925 in the Town of Cato to the late George and Anna Braun Brandl, he was a lifelong Town of Cato resident living on the home farm. He married the former Doris M. Sickinger 21 May 1949 at St Michael Catholic Church Whitelaw. Prior to his illness Mr Brandl was a dairy farmer, an independent Insurance Agent, Director of the Manitowoc County Mutual Fire Insurance Company and also Director of Eastern Mutual Insurance Company and Director of Hartland Cicero Insurance Company. He was former assessor for the Town of Cato.

Survivors include his wife; 4 sons and a daughter-in-law: Glenn+Barbara/Manitowoc, Russell/Orlando FL, Leon and Verlin both of Cato; 4 daughters: Jean and Karen both of Orlando FL, Linda/Whitelaw, Sherri at home; 4 brothers: Mark, Arnold, Isadore all of Manitowoc, Lambert/Green Bay; 5 sisters: Mrs Eleanor Mrozinski, Mrs Arthur (Lucille) Eisenschink, Mrs Clem (Hildegarde) Pozorski, Mrs Hugh (Regina) Williams, Mrs Hubert (Isabel) Willis, all of Manitowoc; 3 grandchildren: Justin, Shannon, Cory Brandl. He was preceded in death by brother George Jr.

Friends called at Pfeffer Funeral Home Manitowoc 4-9pm Wednesday afternoon. A prayer service was at 7:30pm.
