Adrian A. Brunner, age 84, of 127 McKinley St., Valders, went to his eternal rest Wednesday evening, December 9, 1998 at River’s Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, December 11, 1998 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. John Conrad with burial at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 1998, at St. Mary’s Church Cemetery.
He was born January 9, 1914 in Osman, Wis., son of the late Frank and Mary Bogenschultz Brunner. On October 24, 1959 he married Gertrude R. Schmidt at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Adrian was employed at Lakeland Egg Co-op, Valders and Tecumseh Products, New Holstein until his retirement in 1979.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude,Valders; two sons and one daughter-in-law, James Brunner, Manitowoc, Steven and Susan (Hamilton) Brunner, Georgetown, Texas; one granddaughter, Andrea Rose Brunner, Texas; a step-granddaughter, Michelle (Robert) Mayfield III, Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Teckla Krauss, Fond du lac, Mary and Ervin Dehne, Newton, Angeline and Victor Lallensack, Manitowoc; one brother and sister-in-law, William and Dorothy Brunner, Prairie du Chein; one sister-in-law, Ermina Brunner, Chilton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Joseph, Martin, Anton, George and Theodore; one brother-in-law, Lawrence Krauss and one sister-in-law, Lillian Brunner.
Friends may call at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Clarks Mills from 5 p.m. Friday until the time of Mass at 7 p.m. The Christianson & Deja Funeral Home, Valders is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. The family also wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff of River’s Bend and Holy Name Memorial Medical Center, for all of the loving care and compassion that they have given to Adrian.
