Mrs. Benjamin DeStefanis, 68, of 723 North Sixth Street, Manitowoc, died Wednesday night at Mount Sinai Hospital, Milwaukee, following a brief illness.
She was born Cecilia Spadafore in Italy in 1883 and 46 years ago was married to Mr. DeStefanis. Thirty-five years ago they located in Manitowoc.
Survivors are the husband, three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Oestreich of Manitowoc; Mrs. James Morann and Miss Yolanda of Milwaukee; one son, Albert of Milwaukee; sister, Mrs. Ralph Di Christopher of Kenosha and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc and at 9 o’clock at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. L.M. Schorp will officiate and burial will be in the Clarks Mills cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after Friday noon, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
