Madellyn Alexis "Maddy" Rogers, age 4, of Martinsville, Virginia, died Friday, July 6, at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. She was born September 15, 2007, in Martinsville, Virginia, to Billy James Rogers and Whitney Page Wells Rogers. In addition to her parents, she is survived by three brothers, James Rogers, Brenton Rogers, Braden Rogers, and two sisters, Allie Rogers and Ella Rogers of Martinsville, Virginia; grandparents Bud Wells, Pamela Baliel, Mark and Tammie Cobler, of Martinsville, great grandparents, Evonne Chitty, of Henry, Virginia, Pat Wells of Martinsville, Virginia, Jack Stone of Mt. Airy, North Carolina, and her great-great grandmother Bernice Martin of Martinsville.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday July 10, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel at 1425 Greensboro Road, Martinsville, Virginia. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Landmark Baptist Church in Collinsville, with Rev. J. D. Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
