CLINTON MAN DIES AT HIS HOME ON COLLEGE HILL FROM ILLNESS AFTER APOPLEXY

John J. Crane died early Friday morning at his home on College Hill, where his entire life was spent. Illness following apoplexy was the cause of death. Mr. Crane was the youngest son of the late Michael and Elizabeth McManus Crane. He was born March 1, 1855. He married Mary A. Collins at St. Mary's Church, Clinton, April 11, 1882. Mrs. Crane's death occurred October 6, 1927. Mr. Crane was a member of St. Mary's Church, Clinton. He leaves six children, Bessie, Joseph, John, Michael and Lawrence, all of Clinton, and Stephen of Yorkville, and there are 19 grandchildren. The funeral will be held at the home Monday morning at 9:30 and at St. Mary's Church at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Clinton
