Born July 28, 1917 in Brookings SD, to Elmer and Maud Tatge.
Helen taught elementary school in Echo and Worthington and later a substitute teacher in the St Louis Park schools. She was an active member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Alfred "Bud" Iverson and 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
She is survived by three children, Dr. Richard (Monica) Iverson of Macomb, IL, Robert (Kathleen) Iverson of Stillwater, MN and Carol Ann (Donald) Habeger of Juneau, AK; grandchildren, Daniel (Laura), Scott (Sarah), Nicole (Mark) Halstead, Eric, Michael (Christine), Sarah (Sean) Bates, Brice Habeger, & Nathaniel (Sarah) Habeger; great-grandchildren, Colin, Lucy, Charlie, Ila, Owen, Ryne, Maddie, Luke & Leah; sister-in-law, Irene Pehling.
