EUGENE C. SCHADEBERG
Eugene C. Schadeberg, age 80, a Manitowoc Health Care Center resident, died Wednesdayafternoon, October 6, 1999 at the center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 1999 at St. Mary Catholic church, Clarks Mills. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. John Conrad with burial in the church cemetery at a later date.
He was born December 18, 1918 in Manitowoc, son of the late William and Anastasia Klein Schadeberg. Eugene was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. He resided for many years in Coffeeville, Kan., where he was employed as a mason and returned to Manitowoc upon his retirement. Eugene was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Stacie and Chris Willard, Neodesha, Kan., three sons and one daughter-in-law, Joseph and Robbie Schadeberg, Idaho, Mark Schadeberg, Kentucky, William Schadeberg, Kansas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Rosemary Karman, Bolt, Wis., Flora Ann and Eugene Nowak, Manitowoc and a special friend, Betty Musial, Manitowoc. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Andrew, Braden, Courtney, and Brody Willard, Rebecca and Lea Schadeberg, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at 11 a.m. The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
