Zona Pickrel-Burbach

Zona Pickrel Burbach, 92, of Ohama died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005.

She was born Oct. 16, 1912, and was raised in Dodge. She lived in Fremont and Wahoo areas where she worked until moving to Omaha in 1983.

Zona's zest for life will be sadly missed by: her daughter, Velma Nichols; her daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Steve Butts; three sisters, Vera Kaup of West Point, Opal Croson of Omaha and Mae Busch of Council Bluffs; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandsons.

She was preceded in death by husbands, James Mikes, Roy Pickrel and Mark Burbach; a son, Jimmy Mikes, two sisters, Beth Muller and Elva Mueller, and a brother, Leon Foster.
