Margaret Chaney Fortner of Grenada, 71, died of heart failure on Friday, March 15, 2002, at Grenada Health & Rehabilitation Center in Grenada.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, at Lambert First Baptist Church with the Rev. Don O'Quin officiating. Burial followed at Lambert Cemetery. Kimbro Funeral Home of Marks had charge.
Mrs. Fortner, a homemaker, was born May 2, 1930, in Lambert. She was a member of Lambert First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Ottice Neal Fortner of Lambert; three brothers, Charles Chaney of Lambert and H.B. Chaney and Ronnie Chaney, both of Crowder, and a sister, Carolyn Mills of Crowder.
