Richard Zipperer, age 86, a resident of the North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc, died Saturday evening, December 10, 1994, at the North Ridge Care Center.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, 1994 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. Rev. Theodore Hendricks will celebrate the Mass Of Christian Burial with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.

He was born February 15, 1908 in Whitelaw, son of the late Frank and Julia Grall Zipperer.

Mr. Zipperer farmed in the town of Manitowoc Rapids, and retired from Mirro Aluminum Company.

He was married to Florence Schumacher, in 1962, at Cadott, Wis. She preceded him in death on July 16, 1974.

In the past, Mr. Zipperer was the leader of The Moonlight Brass Band.

Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Mary Zipperer, Leona Zipperer, both of Manitowoc, Mary Zipperer, Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, other relatives also survive.

He was preceded in death by seven brothers, Frank, Joseph, Albert, George, Louis, Wilbert and Clement; three sisters, Catherine Reindl, Clara Riederer and Irene Burich; one nephew, Leonard Reindl.

Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services. The Sour Funeral Home, Kellnersville, assisted the family with funeral arrangements
