Rose Theresa Krall, age 94, a longtime resident of Valders and a resident of St. Mary’s Home for the past two years, died Wednesday morning, December 8, 1993, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 10, 1993, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Rev. John Conrad will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She was born June 28, 1899 in the Town of Cato, daughter of the late John and Theresa Grall Gintner. She attended St. Mary’s Schools at Clarks Mills. She married Edward Krall October 19, 1920, at St. Mary’s Church, Clarks Mills. She was a member of St. Mary’s Parish and a former member of the Valders Ladies Progressive Club, the Valders American Legion Auxiliary, St. Mary’s Christian Mothers and the Valders and St. Nazianz Senior Citizens.
Survivors include one son, Eugene Krall, Manitowoc; three daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Larry Salutz, Manitowoc , Joanne and Al Sheehy, Reedsville, Jackie and Marvin Brandl, Newton; a sister, Mrs. Helen Marlborough, Manitowoc; a son-in-law, Robert Meissner, Reedsville, 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, January 27, 1992, three daughters, Beatrice Krall, Genevieve Fitzgerald and Audrey Meissner, a son-in-law, John Fitzgerald, a grandson, Billy Fitzgerald, three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at the Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday morning from 9:30 until the time of service at the church. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
She was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and greatly enjoyed her many relatives and friends.
