Mr. Kohlbeck was born February 14, 1880, in the Town of Cato, son of the late Frank and Margaret Reip Kohlbeck. He married Emma Tuschel May 11, 1908 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. He farmed in the Town of Cato and retired about 20 years ago.
Survivors include his wife, four sons, Harvey of Rt. 1, Cato, Ben of Manitowoc, Leonard at home and Vernon; one daughter, Mrs. Corrine Kotche of Rockford, Ill., three brothers, Louis of Whitelaw, George of the Town of Franklin and Fred of the Town of Cato, two sisters, Mrs. Charles Denk of Cato and Mrs. Ed Brunner of Whitelaw; 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, three brothers preceded him in death. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
