Mrs. Anton Kohlbeck, 68, of Clarks Mills, died last night at her home following a heart attack Saturday at the Pfeffer funeral home and at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Mary Catholic church at Clarks Mills. The Rev. Michael Fetko will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Kohlbeck, nee Clara Vogel, was born in Cato in 1882 and was married to Mr. Kohlbeck in 1903. Survivors are the husband, two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Grall of Manitowoc and Mrs. Alfson of Valders; three sons, William of Detroit, Edward of Manitowoc and Robert of Clarks Mills; two brothers, Louis Vogel of Cato and Joseph Vogel of Whitelaw; sister, Mrs. Lena Tuschl of Cato; and eight grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at the Pfeffer funeral home from 7 p.m. Thursday until the time of services. The Christian Mothers Altar society will recite the rosary at 8 p.m. Thursday and Father Fetko will recite the rosary at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
