Dolores was born May 8, 1923, daughter of the late Louis and Agnes Jirik Denk. She attended St. Mary’s School in Clarks Mills and was a graduate of Valders High School. On Sept. 8, 1945 she married Robert J. Kohlbeck in Clarks Mills. He preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 1993. Dolores was a member of the Catholic Knights and St. Mary’s Christian Mothers.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Terry and Heidi Kohlbeck, Valders; a daughter and son-in-law: Jayette and Bob Marsicek, New Holstein; five sisters and three brothers-in-law: Ruth and LeRoy McCarthy, Marge and Fred Burkart, Georgiana Witt, all of Manitowoc; Betty and Bob Christel, St. Nazianz and Pat Crittendon, Green Bay. Nieces, nephews, other relatives, close neighbors and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Zipperer and two brothers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Clarks Mills, from 9 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at 11 a.m. Memorials would be appreciated to St. Mary’s Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund. Christianson & Deja Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Valders, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
