Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 15, 1992, at 10:15 a.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 11 a.m. at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. The Rev. John Conrad will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will take place at the St. Mary’s Church Cemetery.
Born on September 17, 1915, on the home farm in Cato, Wis., the son of the late Joseph and Frances Bauman Krippner. He attended the St. Mary’s Parochial School in Clarks Mills. He married the former Genrose Vogel on October 18, 1939 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Whitelaw. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1989. Mr. Krippner and his wife Genrose owned and operated the home farm. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Clarks Mills.
Survivors include his wife Genrose, a son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Donna Krippner of Hilbert; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Kevin Kirlin of Manitowoc; two sisters, Irene Karkow and Ann Karkow, both of Manitowoc; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Joseph Krippner of Manitowoc, Raymond and Cele Krippner of Manitowoc, and Lorretta Krippner of Calif.; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Hilary and Neva Vogel of Calif., Helen Vogel, Stanley and Lorraine Vogel, Victor and Maryann Zipperer, Marcellus and Joanne Vogel, all of Manitowoc, Clarence and Cecilia Doleysh of Two Rivers, and Conrad and Betty Vogel of Two Rivers, Frank and Marion Vogel of Denmark; 5 grandsons, Steven and Mark Krippner and Cliff, Clint and Caleb Rusch; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Verne Krippner, and an infant son.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, with a prayer service at 8 p.m. by the Rev. John Conrad.
