Mrs. John Haker, 69, of rural Valders, died Wednesday evening, at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christianson Funeral Home, Valders, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clark Mills. The Rev. Leander Nickel will offtciate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hacker was born April 17, 1900, in Town of Eaton, daughter of the late John and Bertha Bierly Holzer. She was married to John Haker June 10, 1919, at St. Nazianz after which the couple moved to a farm a mile east of Valders. Mrs. Haker lived at a nursing home in Chilton the past four years. Her husband preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Surviving are a son, Ray of Rt. 2, Reedsville; a daughter, Mrs. Tom Dwyer, of Green Bay; two brothers, Peter and Frank, of Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Melvin Lounshrough, of Milwaukee and Mrs. Maurice Labare, of St. Paul Minn., and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p m. Friday until time of service.
