William Hastreiter of Cato route 1, who would have been 54 years old on October 7, died suddenly at 7 a.m. today at the family home following a heart attack. Although he had not been in good health, his death was unexpected.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 9:30 a.m. from the family home and at 10 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church at Clarks Mills, the Rev. Lawrence Loerke officiating.
The body will be taken to the home Thursday morning from the Pfeffer
Funeral Home and will lie in state until the hour of the funeral.
Mr. Hastreiter was born October 7, 1887, in the town of Cato and lived there all his life. He was a farmer.
In 1912 he married Mayme Hill. She survives, with two sons, Herbert and Wilbert, at home, and two brothers, Frank of Kewaunee and Anton of Cato.
Mr. Hastreiter was a member of the Holy Name society of St. Mary's church.
