Mrs. Anton Hastreiter, 80, of Rt 1., Cato, died Wednesday at home after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Reedsville Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills, the Rev. Henry Arens officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hastreiter was born November 18, 1883 in the Town of Cato, daughter of the late Gustave and Anna Klann. She was married to Mr. Hastreiter May 24, 1905, at St. Mary Church, Clarks Mills. The couple farmed in the Town of Cato. She was a charter member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Mary Church.
Surviving are the husband, a daugther, Mrs. Daniel Fischer of Rt. 1, Cato, a brother, Herman Klann of Manitowoc and seven grandchildren. Four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday, where at 8 p.m. the Rosary will be recited by member of the parish and the CM Society.
