Anton Denk, 81, formerly of 1116A Hamilton St., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning at Manitowoc County Hospital where he had been five weeks.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church. The Rev. Alfred Pritzl will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Clarks Mills.
Mr. Denk was born in the Town of Cato Jan. 16, 1877, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Denk. Prior to his retirement in 1944, he had been employed by Mirro Aluminum Co.
He married the former Margaret Remiker, who survives, in 1900. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Charles Grall, also of Maribel; two sons, George of Manitowoc and Raymond of California; two brothers, Charles of Cato and Ferdinand of Auburndale, Wis.; 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
