Mrs. Margaret Denk, 81, formerly of 1118 Hamilton St., Manitowoc, died early Thursday morning at Fairhills Home where she had been a patient since 1958.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc, with the Rev. Alfred Pritzl officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Clarks Mills.
She was born Margaret Remiker, Oct. 25, 1881, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Remiker, if the Town of Franklin. She was married to Anton Denk Nov. 20, 1900, in the Town of Franklin. The family farmed in the Town of Franklin for a time and then moved to Clarks Mills, moving to Manitowoc in 1920. Her husband preceded her in death May 15, 1958.
Among survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Charles Grall of Manitowoc; two sons, George of Manitowoc and Raymond of California; a brother Joseph Remiker Sr., of Grimms; a sister, Mrs. Mary Stuiber of Whitelaw; 10 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
