ARTHUR F. DIETRICH SR.

Arthur F. Dietrich Sr., 71, of Maple Grove, died Wednesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Reedsville Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Maple Grove. The Rev. Alois Pimeskern will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary Church Cemetery, Clarks Mills.
Mr. Dietrich was born Dec. 16, 1897, in Town of Cato, son of the late Joseph and Louise Hoyer Dietrich. He married Clara Bogenschutz at St. Wendel Church June 22, 1920, and the couple farmed in Town of Cato until 1948. He operated a store and tavern at Maple Grove
until retiring in 1963.
Mr. Dietrich was a supervisor for Town of Cato for 13 years and a member of Holy Name Society of St. Patrick Church.
He is survived by six sons, Charles of Manitowoc, Lawrence of Reedsville, Jerome of Clarks Mills, Arthur Jr., and Leo of Whitelaw and John of Cato; two daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Dorothy) Hoffman of Coleman and Mrs. LeRoy (Joanne) Eiles of Maple Grove; three brothers, John and William of St. Nazianz and Edward of Rosecrans and 36 grandchildren. His wife, a son, two daughters and three sisters preceded him in death.
