She was born in Sheboygan on May 24 1902 the daughter
of the late Herman and Elizabeth Abitz. She was a telephone operator at the Wisconsin Telephone Company for 23 years, retiring a few years ago. She was a member of the Pioneers of the Telephone Company and a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Survivors are a brother,George of Sheboygan and three sisters, Mrs. Ida Wagner, Milwaukee and Mrs. Harry Kroos and Mrs. Eleanor Sinn of Sheboygan. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
A memorial fund has been established in Miss Abitz's
name for St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Friday.
