William Abitz, 66, of South Gate, Calif., died Tuesday at his home after being stricken with an apparent heart attack. Born in Sheboygan on Aug. 21, 1907, he was a son of the late Herman and Elizabeth Abitz. He married the former Arvella Damara in 1934 at Souix City, Iowa. Survivors include his widow; four sisters, Mrs. Ida Wagner,Milwaukee, Mrs. Harry Kroos, Mrs. Elenore Sinn and Miss Valeska Abitz, all of Sheboygan,and a brother, George, Sheboygan. A brother and a sister preceded him in death. Funeral services are pending.
