Paula is the illegitimate child of my great, great aunt Elsie Ekstrom and Jean (Paul) Getty. A legal battle ensued after Getty denied paternity and would not pay Elsie child support. Supposedly, he eventually paid her a sum of money and left town shortly after that. Family lore says it was because Elsie's family ran him out.

Sadly, Paula contracted the Plague and died shortly after her 1st birthday.
