YOUNGSTOWN-Chaney W. Mackey, 54, of 5141 Webb Rd., died of a massive coronary at 1 a.m. today in St. Elizabeth's Hospital where he had been a patient two and a half weeks.

Born July 7, 1921 in New Boston, Ohio, he was a son of Abe and Jessie Church Mackey.

He was a structural iron worker for Local 207. He was a Scoutmaster and had started Troops 43 and 45. He was also a member of the Model Railroad Club.

Surviving are his wife, Frances Moon, Mackey, to whom he was married in 1937, two sons, Warren, of Marion, Ind., Chaney W. Jr., of Salem, Ohio, two sisters, Mrs. Leona Kidd, of Portsmouth, Ohio. and Mrs. Margaret Bradley, of Kansas City, Kans.(this is not the correct city that Margaret lived in-after 1960 Margaret lived in Winfield, Ks.), a brother, Merl, of Arvada, Col., four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel where friends may call Sunday 7 to 9 p.m. Interment will be in Kerr Cemetery.
