He was a graduate of Fairleigh-Dickinson University, Teaneck, NJ. A Navy veteran of WWII and Korea, he was a division manager for New York Telephone for 40 years.
He was a member of the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle, a past five year president of the New York-New Jersey Club at Five Towns, and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jocelyn F., three sons, Douglas J., California, Craig W., Cupertino, CA, and Kevin G., Camarillo, CA, a daughter, Gail D. Welch, Ashville, NC, two sisters, Miriam DeLillo, Roselle Park, NJ, and Jeanette DeNoce, Toms River, NJ, and 8 grandchildren.
