Mum married Dad on 30th Sept 1960 at Colonel Light Gardens Lutheran Church. I was born in 1962 and was soon joined by my brother a year later. Three years before mum died, we purchased a 25 ft caravan and proceeded to travel around Australia. Places where we stayed were the Riverland, Quorn on a sheep station, Queensland, and then back to South Australia at Burra. Sadly mum passed away suddenly from a brain aneurysm aged only 36 years old. She was buried on 27th July 1978 in Salisbury Memorial Park South Australia.
Mum was survived by her husband, 2 children, her parents, her identical twin sister, another sister and one brother and their families. She was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and one baby sister.
Even though we did not have you for long we will always treasure you and will always miss you. Both my brother and I are now married, have children and grandchildren they will always be told memories of you.
"Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow; I am the diamond glint on the snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain; I am the gentle autumn rain. When you waken in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of the quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there, I did not die."--Mary Frye (1932)
