Danish Monarch. She was the Queen of Denmark and Norway. Her parents were elector Joachim Friedrich von Brandenburg and electress Katharina von Brandenburg-Küstrin. 1597 married to king Christian IV of Denmark-Norway. She gave birth to 6 children, among whom were Christian, the prince elect, who died the year before his father in 1647, and therefore never ascended the throne, king Frederik III of Denmark-Norway and Ulrik, prince and bishop of Schwerin. The queen had to accept her husbands sexual appetite for other women.
