William Dale , 86, passed away on November 8, 2007 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born in Taylorville, Illinois to Lucille and Gerald Boston on December 10, 1920. Dale was a Lt. Cmdr and naval aviator. He and his wife Marie settled in Corpus Christi at the end of WW II in 1946. Dale continued his service in the US Navy as an active reservist retiring as a Lt Cmdr., for 25 years. He was a pilot and accountant for Arnold O. Morgan Minerals for 40 years and retired in 1990. Dale was well known for his smile, humor, his love for joking, traveling and singing silly songs to his family early in the morning. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marie Boston, his daughters Vicki Fields (Scott) of Portland, OR and Kathy Gabbart of Houston, Texas; grandson Ryan Gabbart (Sarah) of Houston, Texas; Rocky Gabbart (father of Ryan Gabbart); brothers Don Boston (Marynie) of Houston, Texas and Bernard Boston (Lu Veda) of Phoenix, Arizona.

Viewing will be held on Monday, November 12, 2007 at Seaside Funeral Home at 12 noon. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2007 at Seaside Chapel. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
