Evangeline Gudeen in the Duluth Superior metro area. The married and lived together until Florence's death.
Papa was a very proud and independent individual. He lived on his own for a year after his wife's death. Sadly, a known Mexican gang jumped this increasingly frail & old man, beat him severely and robbed him in his own driveway. He was never right after that assault and quickly declined eventually dying from alzheimers dementia and/or a CVA (no autopsy to confirm) at his daughter's home where he lived for a year as his health declined.
He was a successful chiropractor and business man who's friends included influential Corpus Christi residents such as Howard Edward Butt and others.
